The opening ceremony of Kosice Christmas 2008 will be coupled with the lighting up of the town's Christmas tree and all Christmas lights.
In the music-dance show program that will follow will perform some of the finalists of Superstar Slovakia as Dominika Mirgová and Tomáš Krak, as well as dance groups UnoStar, Unoteens and Hviezdička from Kosice and also clowns Adrián and Mikuláš. Presenters of the show will be Bruno Ciberej and Rišo Herrgott.
